Pathways & Stepping Stones in Roehampton

Our process for pathways and stepping stones is straightforward but thorough. We begin by clarifying what the client wants to improve, what should be retained and what condition the area is currently in. From there, the work can be scheduled, prepared and completed in an order that protects the wider garden and supports a consistent finish.

The main work is carried out methodically so progress is controlled and the finish remains consistent. In practical terms, Simon Gardening creates practical garden routes using pathways or stepping stones positioned around access, planting and the wider layout. The route, frequency of use, ground conditions, spacing and visual relationship with the garden are planned before installation. This helps avoid awkward spacing, unstable materials and routes that conflict with drainage, doors or existing garden features.

The final stage is about presentation and usability, not simply stopping when the main task is finished. We check the area, manage suitable waste from the work and make sure the result is ready for its intended use. The outcome is clearer movement through the outdoor space with an attractive feature that helps protect lawns and beds from repeated foot traffic, supported by straightforward advice on future maintenance where relevant. By managing every stage carefully, we make pathways and stepping stones in Roehampton more straightforward for the client and more coherent within the garden.
